Sean Coyle is the founder and owner of Sean Coyle Golf Events, one of the leading independent organisers of amateur championship golf events across Britain, Ireland and overseas. Over the past decade, Sean has developed a portfolio of highly regarded championships played on some of the world’s finest links courses, including Royal Birkdale, Hillside, Kingsbarns, Dumbarnie, Royal Porthcawl, Ballyliffin, Rosapenna, Royal Portrush, Royal Dornoch and Castle Stuart.

His championship portfolio includes the Southport Coast Links Championship, Aberdeen Coast Links Championship, Kingsbarns & Dumbarnie Coast Links Championship, South Wales Coast Links Championship, Rosapenna Coast Links Championships and a number of other premier amateur events throughout Britain and Ireland. Sean is also the owner of Fairway Golf Group Holidays, which offers hosted golf holidays and experiences for Single golfers, couples and mixed groups.

Known for combining professional organisation with a warm and friendly atmosphere, Sean’s events attract golfers from across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada and the United States. I’ve been on three of Sean’s events in recent years, firstly the Southport links and most recently the Dubai event in November 2025, which was a fantastic week at some excellent courses – the Earth course being the highlight of the week. Seeing some of the best in the world at the final day of the race to Dubai was a real treat.

The events are really well organised by Sean and Ali and the courses are exceptional, at rates that can’t be beaten. Looking forward to the tournament in Aberdeen later this year and many thanks for all your hard work in the lead up to and during the events.
